Intention
My approach to trauma-informed, transformational and post-traumatic growth coaching, in many ways, stems from what has been useful to myself, many clients and community members along . My intention is to create, with clients, an attuned, responsive and honoring space, that acknowledges and celebrates your strengths, honors your story, where you are heard and where we can support your explorations in healing, stabilization, discovery, growth, connection, emotional nourishment and thriving.

THIS TRAIL IS A FAVORITE SPOT OF MINE. ONE OF THE PRACTICES I EXPLORE IN MY LIFE IS MINDFUL WALKS. ME AND MY OFF ROAD MOBILITY AID GET OUT AND ABOUT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, AS IT HELPS ME FEEL CENTERED AND CONNECTED.
DRAFT On a personal note, what brought me to this work is my own ongoing process of healing & growth. 17 years ago I started my own journey into trauma recovery, deeper personal healing, addressing PTSD and reconnecting with my body and really, returning to being present with my whole self. As a child sexual abuse and rape survivor raised in an stifling religious sect, a Bi-Queer person & as someone with ongoing health challenges, I continue in my ongoing work and practices of trauma recovery, mindfulness and self discovery. I believe that when we are attuned to and are nourishing ourselves, we are well equipped to meaningful contribute in healthy reciprocal relationships with loved ones, colleagues and community. This is an ongoing lifelong work of awareness, discovery, exploration and growth for me.
12 years ago I attended my first formal training in advocacy and trauma survivor support and have been practicing and learning how best to support both survivors and my own healing, growth and thriving for almost 20 years. While I have worked in various survivor and community empowerment roles over the years, it is the direct one-on-one coaching experience that most resonates with me and what I can offer. I have found that a journey of personal healing, transformation and growth is not a linear process, but an ongoing work. The work can involve telling our stories, tending to the wounded parts of ourselves, honoring our strengths, building mindful practices, re-discovering ourselves, exploring connection within community, learning to prioritize emotional nourishment and being open to ongoing evolution and adaptation. As an abuse survivor raised in an stifling religious sect, a Bi-lady in a Queer family & disabled person, I continue to work through the challenges I am faced with
